Brainwave therapists design and teach bespoke therapy programmes for parents and carers to carry out at home or at school with their children. We work with children with a variety of conditions including acquired brain injuries and cerebral palsy (hemiplegia, diplegia, quadriplegia, dyskinetic, ataxic, periventricular leukomalacia – PVL, hydrocephalus), childhood strokes, brain malformations (such as agenesis of corpus callosum), autism, developmental delay, spina bifida, genetic and chromosomal disorders (such as Down’s syndrome and epileptic conditions), syndromes without a name ( SWAN) and those without a diagnosis at all.
We focus on developing children’s mobility, communication and learning needs through regular activities. Our therapy team is made up of physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, sensory integration practitioners, and a learning and development specialist.
