Brainwave Needs You!
Our shops are a vital source of the funds required to support the children and families following a Brainwave Therapy Programme today, and in the future. They are also an integral part of their local communities, providing a social hub with information regarding Brainwave as well as local activities and events, alongside valuable recycling and volunteering opportunities.

Our volunteers not only enjoy the social aspect of their role, meeting new people and making new friends, many enjoy the practical side, including creating window displays or sorting donations. There are always a variety of tasks our volunteers can get involved in, with some describing it as a new adventure every day!
If you would like to get involved and make a difference to the lives of children with disabilities, such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome, please see below for the opportunities available and click here to find your nearest shop.
If you enjoy meeting and building relationships with new people, our Volunteer Customer Service opportunities may be just the role for you!
Your friendly and outgoing nature will ensure our customers and donors receive a warm welcome in our shops, whilst your attitude toward service with a smile along with the ability to go the extra mile will ensure they return time and time again.
Do your friends admire your sense of style or home décor? Do you have an eye for design? Then you have just the skills we need in a Volunteer Merchandiser. Creating eye-catching window displays and presenting donations to maximise sales are all part of the fun!
If you have a good eye for detail and can recognise quality or potential when you see it, then why not join us as a Volunteer Stock Processor? Our stock processors open bags and boxes of unknown donations every day, searching for the hidden gems that will generate funds for children following a Brainwave Therapy Programme.
If you have a question about volunteering we have put together the answers to some of our frequently asked questions here, or please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team either by emailing retail@brainwave.org.uk or by calling 01278 429089.
