Therapy Access Fund (TAF) Support Calculator
We know that every family’s financial circumstances are different. Our Therapy Access Fund (TAF) helps ensure that no child misses out on accessing our bespoke programmes because of cost.
This calculator will give you an indicative estimate of how much support you may receive, based on your gross household income.
Please note:
- This is for guidance only.
- Final support depends on available funds.
- Once your assessment is confirmed, your contribution will not change for that assessment.
- Every family is required to pay a £100 deposit (this can be paid in two instalments if full 100% TAF is awarded).
Step 1. What is your household’s gross annual income (before deductions)?

All payments (including your full contribution and the £100 deposit) must be completed before your assessment date.
If payments are not up to date eight weeks before your appointment, your assessment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
How this estimate works: Everyone pays a £100 deposit. Your support percentage (e.g., 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, 0%) is applied to the balance of the fee (£450 for an Initial Assessment; £350 for a Reassessment). Your contribution equals the balance not covered by TAF, plus the £100 deposit. Final support is confirmed at booking and depends on funds available at that time. Gross household income is self-declared with random spot checks throughout the year.
