As well as our main base the Brainwave National Therapy Assessment Centre in Somerset, South West England we have three additional outreach hubs based in South East England, North West England and Scotland. Each of these hubs runs for a week twice a year.
South East Outreach Hub
This hub is based in Bishops Stortford with assessments carried out in therapy space at Holisticare (Brook View Old Street Hill, Bishops Stortford, CM22 7LF). This hub usually takes place for a week in November and April and is staffed by two therapists.

North West Outreach Hub
This hub is located within a few miles of the Cheshire area. We will confirm the venue nearer the time.
This hub usually takes place for a week in October and a week in March and is staffed by four therapists.
Please note we no longer run the hub from the Gateway Centre.
Scotland Outreach Hub
This is a mobile hub with home assessments carried out across Scotland. This hub usually takes place in October and May and is staffed by two therapists.
Due to the variety of locations and travel require the assessment days for the hubs are varied, however the typical day starts at 10am where we chat with parents to find out all the up-to-date information about their child before discussing their aims. After a short break we carry out a practical assessment which varies based on the therapists involved and the families’ goals but which we try to make as fun as possible. After a lunch break, we discuss the exercises we have included in the programme, demonstrating and teaching these so that the family can carry them out at home on a regular basis.
