You can make a difference to Brainwave through our various recycling schemes for:
- Clothes (and more!)
If you are thinking about selling or scrapping your car, why not consider supporting Brainwave at the same time?
Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that turns unwanted cars into cash for charities across the country and beyond.
They will arrange a free collection from your home at time that is convenient for you. Your car will then be auctioned or scrapped and the proceeds (minus admin fees) will be donated back to Brainwave.
To find out more, contact Giveacar directly by calling 0207 736 4242 or visiting their website www.giveacar.co.uk.
Do you have jars full of foreign coins, obsolete currency or commemorative money?
We’ve teamed up with Cash4Coins to turn your unwanted currency into a cash donation to Brainwave! All coins and notes are accepted including pre-Euro, pre-decimalisation, any foreign coins, obsolete currency and more. As all donations are gathered together and sent to Cash4Coins for converting into Sterling, we won’t be able tell you the individual value of your donation, but you can be assured that together with like-minded supporters across the country, you will be making a vital difference to the work of Brainwave.
Drop your unwanted currency off to one of our three centres today!
Turn your ink cartridges into cash for Brainwave!
Did you know that you can help us raise funds simply by recycling your used ink cartridges via our Recycle4Charity programme?
For each inkjet cartridge recycled via the programme we will receive a £1 donation, meaning you can help the environment whilst raising money for charity! To start supporting Brainwave is this way, sign up for your free account via their website by clicking here. We only receive donations for inkjet cartridges that appear on their wanted list, so check their website for the latest list. Toner cartridges cannot be accepted.
You can also drop off your used ink cartridges at one of our centres.
Donate goods to our charity shops
We have over 20 charity shops across the south west and are always in need of high quality items to sell either on the high street or online via our eBay page.
You can find out where your nearest shop is via our website or alternatively, you can drop items off to our Centre in Bridgwater (open Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm).
