We’re seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in the role of Newly Qualified Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist. Salary: £28,500 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week (We have our own payscales which are currently being reviewed)
Reports to: Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Brainwave Centre South West, Marsh Lane, Huntworth Gate, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 6LQ
Hours of work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Will involve occasional Saturdays and working at our satellite clinics around twice per year for up to 6 nights away per Clinic.
Job Summary: The therapist is responsible for assessing, identifying and reviewing a child’s speech, language and communication needs as an integral part of the multi-professional team. This specialist assessment contributes to the child’s home based programme which is taught to the parents in order for them to be confident to implement it over the following months.
